Unit will not turn on (No power)
Yellow or Red wire not connected or incorrect voltage
Check connections for proper volatge (11-16VDC)
Black wire not connected - Check connection for ground.
Fuse blown - Replace fuse with proper size fuse

Unit has power but no sound.
One or more speakers wires may be touching each other or touching chassis ground
Insulate all bare speakers wires from each other and chassis ground

Unit blows fuse
Yellow or Red wire touching chassis ground - Check for pinched wire
Speaker wires touching chassic ground - Check for pinched wire.
Incorrect fuse rating - Replace fuse with correct rating

Unit has audio but no video
Parking brake safety circuit not connected - Check connections at parking brake
Parking brake not applied - Apply parking brake

No video display when in reverse
Reverse circuit not connected - Check connections at reverse lamp
Rear view is set to OFF - Set rear view to ON.

IR remote does not work
Dead battery in remote control - Replace battery

Excessive skipping
Unit is not mounted properly - Check mounting sleeve and or dash kit
Physical defect in media - Check media for scratches

ERR-DISC appears on display
Focus error or disc is in upside down - Eject disc or RESET radio)

Front panel will not open or close on my TY-6300SD
Front panel obstructed - Remove the obstacle and press OPEN again to resume the monitor open/close sequence

Bad radio reception on my TY-6100 or CH-4100 radio
Connect the power antenna wire from the factory harness to the power antenna wire on the CH-4100
Connect the ORANGE wire in main factory harness to the Power Antenna wire on TY-6100 harness

Are aftermarket adapters needed for installation?
In some cases aftermarket adapters will be required for installation for retaining factory amplifiers and other factory applications such as steering wheel controls and communications.

CH-4100 will not turn on
Connect the RED wire(near the RCA cables) from the CH-4100 to the IGN wire at the fuse panel

Can I still use my steering wheel controls?
The TY-6100 is currently the only unit that will operate from the sterring wheel controls
The BLUETOOTH function on the steering wheel will NOT work however
